Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sath Labs ("Sath Labs", "we", "us") about your use of the 6Novel app for Android and iOS and the services behind it (together, the "Service"). By installing or using 6Novel you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The key points. You must be at least 13. Be kind in comments. Coins and Premium are digital goods bought through Google Play or the App Store, and refunds follow those stores' rules. A Premium subscription renews until you cancel it in your store account, and deleting your 6Novel account does not cancel it. Stories belong to their authors and rights holders. You can stop using the Service, or delete your account in the app, at any time.

1. Who can use 6Novel

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services or for agreeing to these Terms, you must meet that age or have a parent or guardian's permission. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you, and must approve any purchase. Some stories contain mature themes and are marked with age ratings in the app; please respect them. You must not use the Service if you are barred from doing so by law.

2. Your account

Guest accounts. You can read without signing in. The app then creates an anonymous account tied to an install ID on your device. If you uninstall the app, clear its data or change phone without signing in, a guest account and what is in it (library, progress, coins) may not be recoverable.
Signing in. You may link your account to Google or Apple. This lets you keep your data across devices and post comments.
Keep it safe. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device and your Google or Apple account secure. One person should use one account, and you must not sell, rent, share or transfer an account.
Accurate information. Do not impersonate others. Display names that impersonate 6Novel, Sath Labs, staff or another person are not allowed, and we may change or remove them.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account. What is deleted is explained in the Privacy Policy. Deleting an account also removes any coins left on it, with no refund.

3. The Service and its content

What 6Novel is. A reading app for web novels and serial stories, with libraries, rankings, genres, comments, rewards and optional paid features.
Content. Stories, covers, translations and other material in the app come from us and from authors and partners, and belong to them or are licensed to us. Some content, including parts of translations and chapters, may be produced or adapted with the help of automated tools, including AI, and is reviewed by our editorial team before it is published. Content can contain errors, and we do not promise that it is accurate, complete or suitable for you.
VIP chapters. Some chapters are locked. They can be opened with coins, by watching an ad where offered, or with Premium, as shown in the app.
Availability. We aim to keep the Service running, but it may be unavailable, slow or changed from time to time, for example for maintenance. We may add, change or remove stories, features and rewards, and we may require you to update the app to keep using it.
Your device and costs. You need a compatible device and an internet connection. Data charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility.

4. Your license to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use 6Novel on devices you own or control, and to read the content for your own non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms. All rights not given to you are reserved. 6Novel, its logo, design and software belong to Sath Labs and our licensors.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, scrape, download in bulk, redistribute, translate, republish or sell stories or other content, or use them to train machine-learning models, without permission;
reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, bypass paywalls, locks, ads or limits, or access the Service by any means other than the app we provide;
use bots, scripts, emulators, modified apps or other tricks to farm coins, rewards, check-ins, quests, ad views, likes or rankings, or to exploit a bug (please report bugs to us instead);
interfere with or overload the Service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to reach other people's accounts or data;
break the law, infringe other people's rights, or help anyone else do so;
post or send content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit involving minors, violent in a way that promotes real harm, deceptive, or spam.

6. Comments and community features

Your content. You keep ownership of what you post (comments, replies, ratings, reports). You give Sath Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute it within the Service, and to adapt it as needed to show it (for example to format or translate), for as long as it stays on the Service. You promise that you have the right to post it and that it does not break these Terms or the law.
Public. Comments are visible to other users with your display name. Do not post personal information, and avoid spoilers or mark them as such.
Moderation. We may use automatic filters and human review. We may hide, edit or remove content, limit features, or ban accounts that break these Terms, without notice where needed to protect people or the Service.
Report and block. You can report comments and stories in the app (for example as spam, offensive, spoiler, wrong content, copyright or formatting problems) and block other users. We review reports but cannot promise a specific outcome or timing.
Other people's views. Comments express their authors' opinions, not ours.

7. Coins, unlocks and Premium

7.1 Coins and bonus coins

What they are. Coins are a virtual item that you can buy in the app (through Google Play or the App Store) and use to unlock chapters. Bonus coins are free coins you may earn from check-ins, quests and promotions. Coins and bonus coins are a limited license to use a feature of the Service. They are not money, have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the app.
Spending order and expiry. The app shows how bonus coins are spent first. Bonus coins may expire on the date shown in the app, and we may change how free coins are earned.
Price and taxes. The price of each pack is shown in the store in your local currency and includes any taxes the store adds.
Unlocks. When you unlock a chapter, it becomes available to your account. An unlock is delivered immediately and cannot be cancelled afterwards.
If you delete your account or we close it for breaking these Terms, remaining coins are lost.

7.2 Premium subscription

What it includes. Premium, shown in the app as monthly or yearly plans, opens VIP chapters without spending coins and removes ads while you read, as described on the Premium screen when you subscribe. Features can change over time.
Free trial. A plan may start with a free trial; the app shows its length and the price that follows. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the store starts charging you.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown, until you cancel. The charge goes to your Google Play or Apple account.
Cancelling. Cancel in the settings of your store account (Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions) at least a day before renewal. Deleting the 6Novel app or your 6Novel account does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, Premium works until the end of the period you paid for.
Restoring. Use Restore on the Premium screen to get your purchases back on a new device signed in to the same store account.
Price changes. If a price changes, the store will tell you and, where required, ask for your consent.

7.3 Payments and refunds

Payments are processed and billed by Google or Apple, not by us, and their terms apply. We never receive your card details. Refunds, chargebacks and billing problems are handled by the store under its policies, for example through Google Play's or Apple's refund request process. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital purchase, you agree that once an unlock or a coin credit has been delivered you ask for it immediately and may lose that right to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, we may remove the coins, unlocks or Premium it paid for.

7.4 Misuse

If we find fraud, exploits, refund abuse or any breach of section 5 connected to coins or rewards, we may remove coins, bonus coins and unlocks, record a negative balance, or suspend the account.

8. Ads, rewards and promotions

Ads. The free Service shows ads, including optional rewarded ads that can unlock a chapter. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for what advertisers offer. How ad data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Rewards and promotions. Daily check-ins, quests, streaks, bonus offers and similar rewards are a courtesy. They may change, be limited, or end at any time, and have no cash value.

9. Intellectual property and copyright complaints

We respect the rights of authors and other creators. If you believe content in 6Novel infringes your copyright or another right, use Report this story in the app and choose the copyright option, or email support@sathlabs.com with: your name and contact details; the story and chapter concerned; what work it infringes and proof that you own or represent it; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized; and a statement that your notice is accurate. We may remove or disable the content, tell the person who posted it, and allow a reply. We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. Knowingly false notices can lead to liability.

10. Third-party services

The Service works with services run by others, such as Google (Firebase, AdMob, Sign-In and Play), Apple, and RevenueCat. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they do, and we are not responsible for them. Links in the app or on this site to other sites are provided for convenience.

11. Ending your use; suspension

By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app.
By us. We may suspend or end your access, remove content, or close your account if you break these Terms or the law, if we must by law, if you put others or the Service at risk, or if we stop providing the Service. Where reasonable we will tell you why. If we end the Service entirely, we will give notice where we can and treat unused paid coins and subscriptions fairly in line with the law and the store's rules.
What continues. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive the end of your use.

12. Disclaimers

The Service and the content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make any warranty, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. Some places do not allow some disclaimers, so some of this may not apply to you.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sath Labs and its owners, staff and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or virtual items, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us through the stores in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

You agree to compensate us for losses and costs that result from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service, to the extent the law allows.

14. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when features or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by another suitable way before they take effect. If you keep using 6Novel after the effective date, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@sathlabs.com so we can try to solve it informally. If that does not work, the competent courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction, except that this does not take away any mandatory consumer protection or right to go to court in your own country that you have under the law where you live.

16. Apple and Google terms

Apple. If you use 6Novel on iOS: these Terms are between you and Sath Labs, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and if the app does not meet a warranty, you may tell Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection and intellectual property. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. embargo or on a U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Google. If you use 6Novel on Android, Google Play's Terms of Service also apply to your downloads and purchases.

17. General

Whole agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
If part is invalid. If a part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example in a merger or sale of the business.
Language. We may offer these Terms in other languages for convenience; if they differ, the English version controls where the law allows.
Notices. We may notify you in the app, on this site, or at the email linked to your account.
